Man who died in Burghfield on Friday named





The cause of death has not yet been established and the coroners’ office said that tests to establish this are still ongoing. A result is expected in the next few days.
The South Central Ambulance Service was alerted of an incident in Acorn Gardens at 11.57pm, a spokeswoman for the service Philippa Kay confirmed.
On arrival, they notified Thames Valley Police, and police spokesman Craig Evry said: “When police arrived, the man, who had been found in a garage next to the property, was being treated by paramedics, but he could not be revived. He was pronounced dead at the scene.”
The police then passed the matter to the coroners’ office, describing the circumstances surrounding the death as unexplained but not suspicious.
The coroners’ office has not yet set a date for the inquest, but has indicated that it will do so by the end of the week.
