A MAN has been locked up to await his sentence for harassing a woman.
Elliott DaSilva appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, January 16.
The 29-year-old, of Kingman Way, Newbury, admitted pursuing a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of Amy Wade by making calls from a witheld number in Newbury on Saturday, January 6.
Magistrates told Mr DaSilva, who was legally represented at the hearing by Alex Granville, that they were sending the case to be sentenced by a judge sitting at Reading Crown Court on a date to be fixed.
They meanwhile denied him bail and remanded him in custody.
