Thatcham mayor to host summer garden party for Thatcham Youth and Cruse Bereavement Support
The mayor of Thatcham is hosting a summer garden party in aid of her two chosen charities.
Councillor Suzanne Adamantos is inviting members of the community for afternoon tea in the Jubilee Sensory Garden at the town council’s offices in Brownsfield Road.
The event is being held to raise funds for two local charities: Thatcham Youth and Cruse Bereavement Support.
“We are thrilled to invite everyone to join us for this wonderful afternoon,” said Mrs Adamantos.
“It’s a great opportunity to come together, enjoy each other's company, and make a positive impact in our community.”
Guests can look forward to live music, charity stalls, a cake sale and a prize-winning raffle.
It will be held on on Tuesday, August 6, from 2pm to 4pm.
The council reminds visitors to please take cash to support these vital causes.
