Mayor to open school fete

St Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Newbury will host its annual fete today (Saturday)

THE mayor of Newbury, Jeff Beck, is set to open the school fete at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School today (Saturday).

The fete will feature a variety of dance performances and activities, including a bouncy castle, a fancy dress competition and a penalty shootout.

The event at the Newport Road school will start at 12noon.
