Meat Loaf to play Ladies Day at The Racecourse
He will perform at the Racecourse, on Saturday, August 17, as part of his farewell UK tour “Last At Bat”.
Renowned for his seminal album ‘Bat Out Of Hell’ which has sold more than 45 million copies and is one of the best-selling albums of all time, Meat Loaf will perform a two-act show; the first act to include many of his greatest hits such as ‘Dead Ringer For Love’ and ‘I’d Lie For You (And That’s the Truth)’ followed by a second act of the classic debut album ‘Bat Out Of Hell’ – with all 7 songs performed in their original order.
Managing Director at The Racecourse, Stephen Higgins, said: “Meat Loaf’s farewell tour will be the perfect power ballad end to a great day’s racing on Ladies Day this August.
“He has so many big hits which the crowds can sing along to as the sun goes down. This fixture will certainly be one to remember.”
Meat Loaf will take to the stage in front of the grandstands approximately 15 minutes after the last race of the day.
