Meeting to discuss "super surgery" to be held tonight (Monday)
The ‘drop-in meeting’ is organised by the Patient Participation Groups of St Mary’s Surgery, and patients are invited to turn up and voice their opinion on a possible new name and to ask for more information on the project.
Chair of St Mary’s Road Surgery PPG Jan Hinks said: “Would you like to be the special person to name your surgery?
“Because of the change of location both surgeries will be looking for new names and patients are encouraged to take part.
“On this evening, and afterwards at the surgeries, there will be an opportunity for patients to make ingenious suggestions.
“The winning contestant will be rewarded with a local store voucher.”
Although the final decision on the new name will be made later, suggestions are being welcomed at the meeting which will be held at The Riverside Community Centre, Rosemoor Gardens, from 7pm until 8pm.
