Memorial service at hospital

The West Berkshire Community Hospital will hold a memorial service next Sunday (May 15)

A MEMORIAL service is to be held at West Berkshire Community Hospital on Sunday, May 15 for friends and relatives of patients who have passed away at the hospital.

The service at the outpatients department is open to everyone, although members of the community who have been bereaved in the last year will be particularly welcome at the service, which will be led by the hospital's chaplain, the Rev. Chris Stott.

The Rev. Stott said: “We hope that the service will be helpful and meaningful for relatives and friends of people linked to the hospital who have passed away in the last couple of years, and that it will bring both comfort and hope.“

The service, which will be held in conjunction with the hospital's Charles Clore unit, is the second of its kind following a service last year that was well received by the local population.
