Corn Exchange panto Robin Hood opens next week, oh yes it does!
Robin Hood is set to beat box office records as the Corn Exchange's wackiest, most tuneful and action-packed panto yet comes to town next Friday.
Among the returning faces in this year's show is the fabulous, hilarious Clare Plested who takes the role of Sharon-a-Dale, following her solo comedy run at the Edinburgh Festival and venues across the UK. Joining her in returning to the venue is Panto Dame extraordinaire Ian Mowat who is ready to cause more chaos than ever this year as Shania Tuck, Matthew Grace as the stumbling, bumbling Billy Bumpkin and the down-right mean Prince John is played by Joseph Wicks.
The roles of Robin Hood himself and the object-of-his-eye Maid Marion are taken by newcomers to Newbury panto, with Jorden Bird as Robin and Jessie Lilley as Marion. Completing the professional cast in the role of Richard the Lion Heart is Callum McArdle.
Join Robin and his gang of merry maids and men by booking your seats at www.cornexchangenew.com or telephone the box oon 01635 522733. Tickets are priced £14.50 - £17, concessions available.
