Weather warning: Met Office issues yellow warning for fog across south England including West Berkshire

The Met Office has issued a weather warning for fog 'some of it dense and freezing' across parts of England and Wales.

The yellow warning for fog is in place from 7pm this evening (Monday, January 17) to 12noon tomorrow (Tuesday).

The Met Office has said: "Areas of fog, some of it dense and freezing, will develop during Monday evening and overnight, persisting into Tuesday morning in places.

"Visibility may dip below 100 metres in some locations."

Fog will tend to lift into low cloud in many areas on Tuesday, but they warn 'a few spots may stay foggy into the afternoon'.

Fog is likely to lead to slower journey times and possible hazardous driving conditions, with delays to bus and train services also possible.

There is also a chance of delays or cancellations to flights
