Mini Band to play London's O2 Arena
The band, made up of eight to 11-year-olds will perform at the grand final of this year's Live and Unsigned competition at O2 Arena on July 14.
They made it through to the final after getting the highest judges score in the regional final at Sub 89 in Reading on Sunday.
The judges included representatives from magazines such as Kerrang and major labels such as Warner Bros.
The band's manager, Leo Westby, said that some of the children were in tears after finding out that they would be performing at one of the countries biggest performance venues.
He said that, as always, they tried to down play the idea of getting through to the next round in case they were not successful.
However, he said: "It was surreal and really emotional.
"We told them not to expect it.
"The quality of the bands was top-notch.
"The O2 is a venue that their idols have played at, it's beyond belief.
"It's a dream."
The Mini Band are eight-year-old, Harrison Read, nine-year-olds Harry Jackson, Zoe Thomson and Kieran Fell, and 11-year-olds Archie Zolotuhin and Charlie Emmons.
The band have now beaten off competition from more than 10,000 other bands who entered the competition and are now in the final 60 of the competition.
