Missing prisoner found and arrested in Birmingham

Edward Stirling, aged 46 - date of birth August 21, 1967 - was released on prison licence from HMP Stocken Leicestershire and was due to travel by taxi and train to accommodation in Gloucester, however failed to report in at the address.
Being on licence means that while Sterling was not serving the final part of his sentence in prison, he was required to adhere to a number of conditions in the community including making regular contact with his probation officer.
He was arrested by police today (Friday), following a public appeal for information, and remains in police custody.
