Missing Thornford Park patient John Maguire found safe and well

John Maguire, 43, escaped a medium risk unit on Saturday lunchtime and was eventually located last night.
Police had urged the public not to approach him as he 'can become aggressive when challenged'.
His escape comes a month after West Berkshire Council approved controversial plans for the hospital to build a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) for high risk patients.
Police refused to say where Mr Maguire was located "for privacy reasons".
In the early hours of this morning, the National Police Air Service tweeted: "10/7 0120 hrs Reading missing person search. Large areas cleared but seems misper may be many miles away!
Then 25 minutes later they tweeted: "10/7 0145 making to Didcot for a missing person search. located by officers before we got on scene!"
It is not clear whether or not the tweets referred to the search for Mr Maguire.
