More than 1,000 homes without power in Pangbourne

MORE than 1,000 homes in Pangbourne are without power after reports that a fallen tree has brought down a power line.
Engineers are attempting to restore power to the properties after supplies were cut around 11am this morning (Sun).
Southern Electric is currently investigating to establish whether a fallen tree was the cause.
West Berkshire has been warned to expect more chaos this evening and tomorrow morning (Mon) as the Met Office has predicted winds of up to 80mph.
It also warned of widespread disruption to travel and power supplies throughout the district.
