Southern Electric has confirmed that about 2,000 households have been affected in Greenham, Newtown, Thatcham and Newbury.
These households lost power at about 3.20pm.
About 200 customers have also been affected by a separate power cut in Chilton Foliat, Ramsbury and Hungerford.
These customers have been without power since about 4pm.
Spokeswoman, Kirsty Irons, said that engineers were currently on the scene investigating the cause of the power cuts.
She added that they were working to get the power back on as soon as possible.
