More than 32,000 people are expected to visit the Newbury Show this weekend, a two-day celebration of farming and rural life.

Weather permitting there will be a hot air balloon display, while the Army will be on hand to show off their vehicles, equipment and personnel.

Berkshire's farmers will showcase their livestock, and let people taste some of their produce.

The Kintbury Working Gun Dogs will showcase the cleverness of our four-legged friends, while the Wye Valley Axemen will demonstrate their strength and skills with the bladed tool used for chopping trees.

A village green will be set up next to a food and farming zone, giving people opportunities to meet farmers and ask them questions about their work.

A craft tent is an opportunity for people to buy some unique gifts for friends and family, while the food and drink stalls include a separate area for local producers to display their products.

Other attractions include a fairground, a display of vintage machinery, an Extreme Bike Battle and a display for Land Rovers.

An area dedicated to equine pursuits, including a heavy horse village, will be popular with many, while a livestock judging ring will allow people to see some of the best animals on farms.

There will be live music throughout the weekend.
