Motorcycles, bicycles and handbag stolen in spate of thefts and burglaries in Newbury
There have been a number of thefts and burglaries in the past week.
Thames Valley Police (TVP) has released alerts of these crimes and has appealed for information.
A motorcycle was stolen in Newbury last week.
The blue Lexmoto was stolen from outside a property in London Road.
TVP said offender(s) stole the bike between midnight last Friday (January 19) and Sunday (January 21).
Part of the motorbike’s registration plate is LX21 ***.

There was an attempted burglary in Walton Way overnight at the weekend.
TVP said offender(s) forced open a garage door between midnight on Saturday and 10.17am on Sunday.

A “messy search” was carried out at a property in Gaywood Drive on Monday (January 22).
Police say offenders gained access to the property between 4.30pm and 8.30pm and carried out a messy search.

Another burglary took place the next day in Essex Street.
Offender(s) gained access to a garage overnight on Tuesday (January 23).
A number of bikes were taken.
Offender(s) stole one specialised electric mountain bike, two giant downhill mountain bikes, – trance 29inch and stance 29 inch, a Beta 4t 125cc red motorbike with the registration HG72 ***, a Yamaha wr250f blue motorbike with the registration AU22 ***, a Yamaha yz426f blue motorbike with the registration Y658 *** and one electric scooter in dark grey.

On the same day, a handbag was stolen in Northcroft Lane.
TVP said offender(s) smashed the passenger window of a silver Skoda Fabia Estate and stole a handbag.
The incident occurred between midnight and 7am on Tuesday (January 23).

Offender(s) stole an Apollo Valier Classic bicycle between 4pm on Monday (January 22) and 8am on Tuesday (January 23).
