Thames Valley Police appeal for witnesses or dash-cam footage after Great Shefford crash leaves motorcyclist in hospital with serious injuries




Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision in Great Shefford left a man with serious injuries.

At around 2.10pm on Monday there was a collision on Church Street involving a blue Volkswagen Golf and a bronze and black-coloured 125cc motorcycle.

The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his thirties, suffered serious injuries. He remains in hospital in a serious condition.

The driver of the car was uninjured.

No arrests have been made at this stage and Thames Valley Police is now appealing for anyone who saw the collision to come forward.

Investigating officer PC Ben Eastment, of the joint operations roads policing unit, based at Three Mile Cross, said: “We are investigating this collision in which a motorcyclist received serious injuries.

“As such we are appealing for information following the incident and are looking for anyone who saw the collision, or may have seen the vehicles travelling prior to the incident to come forward and call 101 quoting reference 43220490071.

“Or if you were travelling on Church Street at around 2.10pm and have a dash-cam we would ask you to check your footage and if it shows either vehicle or the incident please upload the footage to our online page.”
