Burghfield Common motorist Dean Boness caught drug-driving in Kintbury
A MOTORIST with no insurance was caught drug-driving.
Dean Boness appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, March 26.
The 37-year-old, of Three Firs Way, Burghfield Common, admitted driving a Saab 9-3 when the proportion of the Class B-controlled drug cannabis in his system exceeded the specified limit.
He further admitted possessing cannabis, driving without insurance and driving without a valid licence.
All the offences were committed in Gainsborough Avenue, Kintbury, on July 18 last year.
Mr Boness, who was legally represented by Vera Dilyanova, was made subject to an 18-month community order with a 25-day rehabilitation activity requirement.
In addition, he was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £114.
Finally, Mr Boness was banned from driving for 17 months.
