Reading Magistrates' Court: Newbury motorist denies drink-driving in Pangbourne




A MAN is set to go on trial charged with drink-driving.

In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, January 10, was Kyle Butler.

The 33-year-old, of Elizabeth Avenue, Newbury, is accused of driving a Volkswagen Golf on Reading Road, Pangbourne, on December 17 last year after drinking more than the legal limit.

Tests are said to have showed 42mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system.

The legal limit is 35mcg.

Mr Butler, who was legally represented by Gianpaolo Damiani, was told the case could proceed no further that day and it was adjourned for a trial to be arranged.

Mr Butler was meanwhile released on unconditional bail.
