Burghfield Common motorist Hannah Buckingham caught drink-driving in Theale

A WOMAN drank almost three times the legal limit before getting behind the wheel.

Hannah Buckingham appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, August 13.

The 28-year-old, of Wheeler Close, Burghfield Common, admitted driving a Ford Fiesta on Station Road, Theale, on Friday, June 28, after drinking more than the legal limit.

Tests showed 99mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system.

The legal limit is 35mcg.

Magistrates adjourned the case for pre-sentence report to be prepared.

Buckingham, who was legally represented by Robert Jacques, was meanwhile released on unconditional bail and made subject to an interim driving ban.
