Reading Magistrates' Court: Newbury motorist drank more than three times limit

A MOTORIST is awaiting sentence for being caught behind the wheel after drinking more than three times the legal limit.
In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Thursday, July 21, was Patrick O'Halloran.
The 64-year-old, of The Gabriels, Newbury, admitted driving a Honda CR-V on Pinchington Lane, Newbury, on Sunday, June 12, after drinking more than the legal limit.
Tests showed 107mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system.
The legal limit is 35mcg.
District judge Kathryn Verghis ordered pre-sentence reports to be prepared on an 'all options' basis, including custody.
Mr O'Halloran was meanwhile granted unconditional bail.
