Bradfield Southend motorist Joe Brooker caught drug-driving in Burghfield

A MOTORIST has been banned from the roads for drug-driving.

Joe Brooker appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court last December 31.

The 19-year-old, of Southend Road, Bradfield Southend, admitted driving a Jaguar car on Burghfield Road, Burghfield, last October 11, when the amount of the Class B-controlled drug cannabis in his system exceeded the specified limit.

Brooker, who was legally represented by Simon Hammudi, was fined £153.

In addition, he was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £61.

Finally, Brooker was banned from driving for 12 months.
