The 30-year-old, of Huntsmoor Road, Tadley, admitted driving a red Peugeot on Harbury Court, Newbury, on February 14 when the amount of the Class A-controlled drug cocaine in his system exceeded the specified limit.

Magistrates ordered pre-sentence reports.

They stipulated these should be prepared on an ‘all options’ basis including, potentially, custody.

Pike, who was legally represented by Robert Jacques, was meanwhile released on unconditional bail.
