Reading Magistrates' Court: Thatcham motorist fined for failing to provide breath specimen

A DRIVER has been sentenced for failing to provide a breath specimen for analysis.
At a previous hearing at Reading Magistrates Court, Matthew Paul Hawkins admitted failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis in Reading on December 30, 2020.
He appeared again for sentencing on Wednesday, July 20.
The 34-year-old, of The Turnery, Thatcham, was made subject to a six-month community order with an alcohol dependency treatment requirement.
He was also fined £400.
In addition, Mr Hawkins was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge.
Finally, his licence was endorsed by 10 points.
