Paul Mitchell, of The Pheasant, Lambourn Woodlands, caught drug-driving




A MOTORIST was caught with a drugs cocktail in his system.

Paul Mitchell appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, May 28.

The 53-year-old, whose address was given as The Pheasant Inn in Ermin Street, Shefford Woodlands, admitted driving a black Peugeot 207 in Benedict Court, off Western Avenue in Newbury, on November 14 last year when the amount of both cocaine and cannabis in his system exceeded the specified limit.

Mr Mitchell was fined £600.

In addition, he was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £240.

Finally, Mr Mitchell was banned from driving for 16 months.
