Motorist injured in road incident near Hungerford




Car flipped over on slip road at junction 14 of the M4 earlier this morning (Thursday)

A MAN was taken to hospital after his car overturned near Hungerford this morning (Thursday).

Thames Valley Police were called to the incident on the slip road off junction 14 of the M4 at 6.42am, after a Vauxhall Astra belonging to a Worcestershire man collided with street furniture.

The car landed upside down in the middle of the road and the man, who suffered a suspected broken arm, was taken to the Great Western Hospital, Swindon, by ambulance.

No other vehicles were involved.

The road has not been closed.
