Tadley motorist Sammy Cole caught drug-driving

A MOTORIST was caught drug-driving while uninsured.

Sammy Cole appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, September 26.

The 20-year-old, of The Green, Tadley, admitted driving a Volkswagen Polo when the amount of the Class B-controlled drug cannabis in his system exceeded the prescribed limit.

He further admitted driving without insurance and driving without a valid licence.

All the offences were committed in Kirtons Farm Road in Burghfield on Sunday, April 21.

Cole, who represented himself at the hearing, was fined £200.

No order was made for costs because of his lack of means but he was required to pay a statutory victim services surcharge of £80.

Finally, Cole was banned from driving for 12 months.
