Tadley motorist David Alexander took cocaine and drove in Silchester




A MOTORIST was caught behind the wheel after taking cocaine.

David Alexander appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, July 3.

The 51-year-old, of Bond Close, Tadley, admitted driving a Vauxhall Astra on Kings Road, Silchester, on November 17 last year, when the amount of the Class A-controlled drug in his system exceeded the specified limit.

Mr Alexander, who was legally represented by Fayyaz Alam, was fined £120 and made subject to a 12-month community order.

In addition, he was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge.

Finally, Mr Alexander was banned from driving for 40 months.
