Calrton Pike from Lambourn twice took cocaine before driving
A MOTORIST was caught after taking cocaine before driving – twice.
Carlton Pike appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on December 17 last year.
The 31-year-old, of Close End, Lambourn, admitted driving a red Peugeot in Harbury Court in Newbury on February 14 last year when the amount of the Class A-controlled drug in his system exceeded the specified limit.
Next, he admitted committing the same offence in a blue Volkswagen Golf on the A4 Bath Road in Thatcham on March 2 last year.
Pike, who was legally represented by Robert Jacques, was made subject to a 12-month community order and required to complete 60 hours of unpaid community work.
He was further ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge.
Finally, Pike was banned from driving for 16 months.
