Newbury motorist Kathryn Warrington caught drink-driving




A WOMAN has been sentenced for drink-driving.

Kathryn Warrington appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, July 30.

The 28-year-old, of Jago Court, Newbury, admitted driving a motor vehicle on Newtown Road, Newbury, on Saturday, July 6, after drinking more than the legal limit.

Tests showed 58mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system.

The legal limit is 35mcg.

Magistrates fined Ms Warrington £600.

In addition, she was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £240.

Finally, Ms Warrington was banned from driving for 16 months.
