Motorists warned of overnight closures on M4 this week

Motorway will be closed in both directions between junctions 10 and 11

THE M4 will be closed in both directions between junctions 10 (Wokingham and Bracknell) and 11 (Reading) for five nights from tonight (Monday, November 30).

The closure will be in place between 9pm to 6am and will allow work to begin on a new six-lane motorway bridge near Reading.

The bridge is part of the construction of the new Shinfield Eastern Relief Road being built on behalf of the University of Reading which is hoped will ease congestion by diverting through traffic on the A327 at Shinfield.

Signed diversions will be in place via the B3270 and A329.
