New chip shop planned for Newbury

A new chippy – Mr Cod – is moving into Newbury town centre.

The fish and chip shop franchise wants to get frying in Cheap Street on the old Imperial Grill and Wau site.

The applicant has asked for planning permission to change the shop front signs.

It will add to the choice of eateries in Newbury town centre.
