Mr Simms sweet shop opened by Newbury mayor

A Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe was opened by Newbury Mayor Billy Drummond today (Friday).

The shop is based in Northbrook Street, in the premises of the former Ernest Jones store.

It was officially opened today at midday.

The shop is returning to the town, having previously been based at the other end of Northbrook Street a few years ago.
