Multi-vehicle collision in Thatcham

Motorists experienced traffic delays near Pipers Way junction this morning (Monday)

A MULTI car crash in Thatcham this morning (Monday) caused problems for motorists.

Police were called to Bath Road at the junction of Pipers Way at 7.59am after four cars were involved in the collision.

The cars involved were a Blue Fiat Punto, a silver BMW, a grey Toyota Corolla and a silver ford Focus.

The ambulance attended, however, those involved suffered only minor injuries.

The road was not closed but the incident did cause traffic delays.

The driver of the Corolla has been reported by the police for careless driving and further investigations are ongoing.
