Motorway closed eastbound at Junction 12 as HGVS and a car collide leaving a person trapped
THE M4 has been closed eastbound at Junction 12 following a collision between two HGVs and car.
One person is reported to be trapped as fire, police and air ambulance crews attend the incident between Junctions 12 and 11, near to Theale.
The Highways Agency has said it expects the road to remain closed until approximately 4pm.
A spokeswoman for Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue, Ellie Gray said several fire crews were in attendance, from Dee Road, Whitley Wood and Wokingham Road, and the rescue support unit had also been sent to assist.
Traffic has been queuing up for over 30 minutes.
