Mum of Cold Ash pupil takes on London Marathon to raise money for preschool
A MOTHER of a Cold Ash Pre-school pupil will be running the London Marathon on Sunday to raise funds for facilities for the children.
Selina Hall will take on the 26-mile challenge on October, 3 with the aim of raising £500 for new garden equipment.
The mother of three said: “To keep me going on the day, I would love our supporters to nominate their little one, so I can run a mile for them.
“That way, each mile I do will mean even more and give me additional motivation to keep going and finish.”
She added: “I hope to get a temporary tattoo of all the nominated names on my arm ready for the big day.”
Cold Ash Pre-school will use the money to improve their garden space which will “further enhance the space, and resources and events” that they have on their premises.
They say they will “get started right away” on improvements to the school if Mrs Hall’s run gathers enough funds.
Mrs Hall went on to thank her supporters: “I want to thank everyone for all your ongoing support, beautiful words and kindness.
“Training has been tough, especially over the last month and the longer runs have been tiring but all your encouragement has kept me going.
“I feel very honoured to be running for such an amazing cause.”
