Murder investigation launched in Newbury
Police were initially called to Boundary Road (pictured) at 9.25pm after a 33-year-old man was found seriously injured.
He was taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious condition, however officers were also called to an addresss in Queens Road at around 10pm where a second man, aged 38, was found with serious injuries.
Paramedics attended but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two men, aged 22 and 20, were arrested in the Thatcham area on suspicion of murder during the early hours of this morning (Saturday).
Another man, aged 32, was arrested at an address in the Newbury area.
A fourth man was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Detective chief inspector Joe Kidman, senior investigating officer, said: “The inquiry is in its early stages and we are currently establishing the circumstances of the incident. Both victims appear to have stab type injuries. It does appear that the parties involved are known to each other.”
