Kingsclere singer Kate Izzard will kick off a new summer programme of music at Newbury's market today (Saturday)
A KINGSCLERE singer will kick off a new summer programme of local musical talent at Newbury's Charter Market today (Saturday).
Kate Izzard, aged 21, is an aspiring musical theatre performer who has studied performing arts at Queen Mary's college in Basingstoke and is currently auditioning for a place at drama school to study musical theatre and pursue her dream of performing in the West End.
She will be singing popular ‘Show Tunes' in the Market Place between 10am and 1pm, with a Disney sing-a-long at 11am.
