My Newbury in pictures

West Berkshire's photographers have been busy snapping animals in the district countryside

ANIMALS have proved an inspiration for West Berkshire's amateur photographers this week for latest My Newbury submissions.

Several pictures have been sent in by our readers this week of wildlife and the West Berkshire countryside, including photographs of horses enjoying a late summer day and cows on Greenham Common, submitted by Ian Rome and Donna Sawtell respectively.

Mr Rome has also sent in a great picture of a cat being surrounded by magpies in a Thatcham garden.
