West Berkshire's photographers have submitted some summery scenes this week

AS WEST Berkshire experienced a late burst of sunshine this week, the district's photographers have submitted some summery photos.

Jessica Hill, from Donnington, has submitted some great photos of a hand-painted barge passing through Newbury earlier this year, while Bill Neate has sent in a photo of a stunning sunset in Combe (pictured above), along with a photo of some poppies in a field in Inkpen.

Meanwhile, Donna Sawtell has sent in some artistic shots of local scenes in Newbury town centre, while Brenda Skinner snapped a horse on Snelsmore Common at the weekend and Brian Neller caught a rather monstrous looking eight-legged friend on camera in his Yattendon garden.
