My Newbury in pictures

This week you've been taking pictures of the West Berkshire scenery including sunsets and the canal

WINTER, with its short days, is the perfect time to see spectacular sunsets, a fact proved by this week's submissions to My Newbury.

Images captured by West berkshire residents Bill Neate and Kirstie Millar celebrate the end of the day in all its glory.

Mr Neate chose the roof of the car park at Sainsbury's, Newbury, as his viewing spot, while Ms Millar took snaps at Henwick Field, Thatcham.

The beautiful pastels of the setting sun stands in sharp contrast to James Dean's striking blues captured near the Lock Stock and Barrel.
