New classroom joy for Yattendon school

The occasion was a bittersweet occasion for the school, as new acting headteacher Katie Dickens welcomed outgoing head Kathryn Simmons, to open the facility.
With decking and a learning environment sizeable for 13 children in the foundation class, pupils can now enjoy lessons inside and outside.
A special afternoon tea was held, and some of the parties responsible for the funding and creation, including Liz Mason, from Oxford Diocese, Philip Bevan from IBC Architects, and Matt Bryne, from Greenham Construction, were invited to attend
