The bishop was joined by two trustees of the chapel during the ceremony.

They were Sara Jones, the widow of colonel H Jones, and Sukey Cameron, a Falkland Islander and former representative of the Falkland Islands Government in the UK.

The brief ceremony was followed by the Annual Service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance in the Chapel which was attended by some 570 people, including families of veterans from the Falklands War.
