New coronavirus testing centre set to open at Newbury Library




A NEW mobile testing site is to open in Newbury Library car park tomorrow (Friday).

It will operate between 9.30am and 4pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, closing on Wednesday and Sunday.

There is no booking system for access.

Anyone above the age of 16 can drop in for a lateral flow test.

Residents will also be able to collect home testing kits from workers there.

West Berkshire Council has announced the new facility following the closure of the existing testing site at Highwood Copse Primary School.
