New dog show held in Chieveley today (Saturday)

Pedigree classes for purebreed dogs and fun classes such as waggiest tail, most handsome dog, and the dog the judge would most like to take home, will be held, alongside obstacle courses.
If your dog doesn’t want to take part in any games, they can go along just for the fun of it.
The event will take place at Chieveley Village Hall. Entries can be taken along from 11am, with judging starting at noon
The day is being organised by the Central and Southern German Shorthaired Pointer Society, a society setup in 2011, in aid of Acorns Children’s Hospice and German Shorthaired Pointer Rescue.
