New driving range ready to tee-off in Thatcham

Owner John Mitchell said that the new business will be a big boost to the town and the surrounding area, particularly as the one at The Racecourse Newbury will be closing in December as part of the redevelopment there.
He said: “We will be the main driving range in the area.”
Mr Mitchell will be running the 12-bay golf facility at Lower Henwick Farm, Turnpike Road, with his son Ian, a PGA professional, wife Glynis, and Lee Newman, also a PGA professional.
