New football goal posts installed at Kennet Heath in Thatcham

Thatcham Town Council has installed new football goal posts at Kennet Heath Open Space.

The development is part of the town council’s ongoing commitment to offering free and low-cost recreational facilities and promoting healthy, active lifestyles among Thatcham’s youth.

And in addition to the new goal posts, the town council has announced that picnic benches will be installed in Kennet Heath in the coming months.

These benches will provide seating for families and friends to enjoy the park and outdoor gym equipment.

The project was supported by West Berkshire Youth Council and Greenham Trust’s Let’s Get Active Scheme.
