New member for Hungerford Rotary Club

A NEW member was inducted into Hungerford Rotary Club on Monday evening.

Nick Wedgwood was a captain for BA on the Boeing 777 for 32 years.

He retired in 2018 and spent time on his hobbies of sailing, hiking and motorcycles.

In 2022 he moved from Weymouth in Dorset to Hungerford and decided he would like to spend some time helping charities in the local area – so he applied for membership of Hungerford Rotary Club where he could be involved in the work that the club does for local good courses.

Mr Wedgwood joins the other men and women members, many of whom will be helping at the Classic Vehicle show at the Hungerford Rugby Football Club field on Monday, May 1.
