Newbury’s Watermill theatre announces new menu and extended opening times for Riverside restaurant and café

As of today (Wednesday, October 25), The Watermill theatre will be opening their Riverside Bar and Restaurant during the day and launching a new Café menu, available every Wednesday – Saturday from 10.30am - 3.30pm, for lunch, light bites, teas, coffees and more.

Claire Murray from the Bagnor theatre said: “Whether you're catching up with friends, grabbing a snack for you and your children after feeding the ducks, or looking for somewhere to work from home away from home, drop by and we can whip something up just for you!

“And to celebrate our Café opening, have a cuppa on us with any purchase of £3.75 or more between October 25 and November 4 – we can’t wait to see you there!”

During the run of The Wizard of Oz (playing at the theatre November 17 to December 31, tickets on sale now, the café menu will take on a new festive flavour, with specials on offer for evening pre-show dining.

For those looking for the perfect place to host a festive party, groups of 10 or more can book a 2-course lunch at £27.50pp or 3-course dinner at £32.50pp, with exclusive hire available for groups of 40. An early bird discount is available for bookings reserved by October 31 with menus and more information on their website .
