New outdoor mobility scooter for Nature Discovery Centre in Thatcham




The Nature Discovery Centre has introduced a new outdoor mobility scooter.

The scooter, called a Tramper, is available to borrow for anyone who has limited mobility.

The centre said it is keen for as many people to make use of it as possible.

Assistant manager Hazel Fell said: “Limited mobility needn’t mean missing out on nature.

“This allows anyone who has difficulty exploring our site by foot to still see our reserve.

“This service is on a first come, first serve basis, and is free of charge.”

Tramper users must be accompanied by someone over the age of 16-years-old.
